3. Which Handset should I use?
 

Our International SIM Cards will work with any Tri-band or Quad-band GSM cell phone, please ensure that your cell phone meets the following criteria:

    * GSM Tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900) or Quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900)
    * It is an unlocked GSM cell phone
    * Has an international power adapter

If you have a Cell Phone with above mentioned specification, simply buy our SIM card and use it in your Cell Phone. If don’t then you can also hire a Cellular phone for that desired country from us.

Please Note: Our SIM cards don’t work on blackberry sets because they are network locked.

 
4. How will I get my SIM card?
 

As soon as you request for our SIM card by submitting your details on our Query form on website or Dialing 1800-102-1113 or sending a request to enquiry@clay.co.in  our customer support team  will get in touch with you with all the details regarding the SIM card & Tariff plan.

Soon as you book the SIM card, we shall have it delivered at your home or office within few hours.
 
5. When Do I have to return my SIM card?
  On returning back from your country of travel, kindly intimate us by dropping an e-mail to returns@clay.co.in or calling us at +91-9911111888 to confirm your return. Clay Telecom will organize a pickup at a time suitable from you.
 
6. Which all documents I need?
 

To get an International Postpaid SIM from Clay following are mandatory:

  • A valid passport copy
  • Credit card front and back copy
  • Single photograph.
 
7. Does Clay SIM works in Blackberry?
 

Our SIM cards don’t work on blackberry sets because they are network locked.

 
8. What should I do if my SIM card doesn’t works?
 

In case your SIM card does not work, please Contact our customer support team at 1800-102-1113 or +91-9990111222. Our 24X7 customer support team will resolve your all queries.

You can also get in touch with Your Account Manager for all your queries/grievance.

Please note: Calls to Toll Free Numbers/Directory Enquires/and other value added services to the country of travel are chargeable.

 
9. Does my SIM works on Cruise ships?
  Depends on the area, but coverage will not be optimum. Besides that, calls made while on cruise ships are charged at a higher tariff than the contracted airtime.
 
10. How will I be billed?
  You will receive your bill only after 15 days of your returning our SIM card.
 
11. How can I make my bill payment?
  You can pay via cash, credit card or cheque.
 
12. What is Credit Card Blocking?
  It means that a certain amount of your credit limit has been restricted for use. This amount is released when your dues towards our company have been cleared. Please note that the amount blocked from your credit card is never credited until and unless you are informed.
 
13. What is Minimum Commitment?
 

While you hire our International SIM card, you have to provide us with a minimum commitment of usage. This commitment differs from pan to plan and is as low as INR 330/-.

This means that if your usage amount is more than the minimum commitment amount, your rent is waived off. But if your usage amount is less than minimum commitment amount, the minimum commitment amount is considered the rental amount and added to your bill.
 
14. Can I use my SIM card outside the country of travel?
  Yes, you can but in that case you have to pay Hefty International Roaming Charges.
 
15. Can I use my SIM card once I am back to India?
  No. International SIM cards do not work in India.
 
16. What If my SIM card is lost or damaged during my travel?
  Please call 1800-102-1113 immediately or get in touch with your Account Manager.
 
17. Are Toll Free numbers to the service provider are free of cost?
  Please note: Calls to Toll Free Numbers/Directory Enquires/and other value added services to the country of travel are chargeable.

To make an International Call Dial country code + area code + Fixed line number

For Instance to call from U.K to USA:
Dial 001 + Area code + Fixed line number
Dial 001 + Mobile number
